We are hiring a Technical Analyst – Environment Management.

Reporting to the Non-production Environment Lead, the Technical Analyst will be responsible for the building, maintenance and scheduling usage of IT infrastructure for non-production environments, as per documentation. The Technical Analyst will be required to review build documentation, activity planning and perform technical tasks specific to the assigned projects.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Provide technical execution based on build documents during build phase
* Maintain existing Non Production Environments to ensure consistency
* Review and update build documentation and implementation plans as needed and confirm feasibility of design
* Review design documents, confirm feasibility, provide feedback
* Troubleshoot, analyze and identify issues/problems and develop resolution plans
* Support QA teams during tests for infrastructure related issues
* Consult and support the Infrastructure Solution Lead specific to the technical design and functional characteristics of the Non Production Environments
* Provide project status updates to the PM
* Provide assistance during the project warranty period given experiences learned within the Non Production Environments
* Execute assigned tasks and/or coordinate technical activities if needed
* Organize and participate in the knowledge transfer and technical hand-over to Operations teams
* Prepare and present data for management reports on Non-production environments
* Assist in the development of project plans along with establishing task list and effort estimates for relevant Build activities on assigned projects
* Setup and manage user access
* Schedule use of shared non-production environments (virtual server environments, lab space, etc.)
* Assist with creation and improvement of supporting processes and documentation


* Recent hands-on technical expertise (system administration and configuration) in two or more of the following areas: Linux, AIX, Windows Server 2008, VMWare, IBM Middleware, Oracle, DB2, network and middleware, Desktop technologies
* Excellent troubleshooting skills in a complex technical environment
* Good understanding of capacity planning
* Technical documentation – build book, operations manual, knowledge base
* Working knowledge of MS Office, Visio and other PC applications
* Detail oriented and strong organizational and communication skills.
* Capable to work under minimum supervision
* Ability to manage and deliver to multiple priorities

Education & Job Knowledge:

* University degree or 3 year college education in Business/Computer Science.


* 3-5 years of IT related experience.
* Exposure to infrastructure design and/or development environments would be a plus
